ERIC NYBERG
Oakland native and resident, Eric has practiced bankruptcy, business law, and commercial litigation at Kornfield, Nyberg, Bendes, Kuhner & Little, P.C., since 1987. Eric believes in balancing the need to provide skilled, cost-effective representation with objective advice.
Eric is an active member of the legal community; he has served as a committee member of the Insolvency Law Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California, Chair of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Alameda County Bar Association, has been a mediator for the Bankruptcy Dispute Resolution Program of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California since the program's inception and is a regular volunteer at bankruptcy clinics sponsored by the Alameda County Bar Association. He is the author of "Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1994," Westland Review's Quick Guide to Foreclosure Law, 1995 Pacific 60, and has been a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy-related topics. Eric is a 2006-2024 Northern California Super Lawyer, and has an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the national directory of attorneys, indicating outstanding legal ability and very high ethical standards. Outside of his law practice, he is an avid runner, cyclist, and outdoor enthusiast Eric also holds a National Coaching License (soccer).
